About Us

As RC Mentale Gesundheit / Mental Health, we strengthen awareness of mental health and advocate for emotional, psychological and social wellbeing.

For the young and elderly, for families, working life and for ourselves too.

VISION

A society in which mental health is afforded the same value as physical health -> upheld by awareness, compassion & responsibility.

MISSION

Mental Health

  • de-stigmatise & establish as a relevant issue
  • make visible & open to discussion
  • strengthen & offer hope

We promote:

  • Education
  • Prevention
  • Solidarity

through projects, talks & partnerships that raise awareness and encourage people to speak openly about mental health, making it perfectly normal to seek help.

With 30 committed members based in Europe and Africa, we are a young, forward-thinking online club in Distrikt 1950.

We are internationally networked, digitally connected and full of drive.

Since our founding in 2025, we bring together people, ideas and perspectives — online via Zoom as well as in person at meetings held in various cities across Germany.

Our club projects are:

EMG, ShelterBox, MINT-logisch and KIDS SAVE LIVEs

Come and see for yourself by visiting one of our club meetings as a Rotarian.

                             You are always very welcome!

Or explore the fascinating world of Rotary through this website. As part of the global Rotary family, we are committed to bringing about lasting change in our society and beyond.

The Four-Way Test

Rotary is an international association of women and men united by a shared passion: to improve the quality of life everywhere in the world through voluntary service. Whether we act in keeping with our core values can be measured against Rotary's Four-Way Test:

  • Is it the truth?
  • Is it fair to all concerned?
  • Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
  • Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Bringing together people and impact

Glasses without Borders

One example that has deeply impressed us is the direct aid project Brillen ohne Grenzen. Because a donated pair of glasses is so much more than an everyday object. Seeing means far more than simply perceiving - it enables participation, independence and safety in daily life. Those who can see well can actively take part in life, maintain social connections and experience a sense of self-efficacy. Glasses therefore ...
